Sheldon Barn offers light and airy first floor self-catering accommodation with one double (king-size bed) and one twin bedroom. There are two bathrooms, one being en-suite (shower over bath) to the double bedroom, the other has a walk-in shower. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, larder fridge (with small freezer compartment), microwave and full-size dishwasher. There is a launderette in Buxton (eight miles); in an emergency our laundry facilities may be available by arrangement. The comfortable and spacious L-shaped living room has dining and lounge areas, looking out to the countryside beyond. The Barn has full central heating; bed linen and towels are provided. The welcome pack includes enough tea, coffee and home produced items for a restorative snack after your journey. A cot and high chair are available by prior request and there is off road parking. You are also welcome to make use of the lawned areas in our garden.

If you’re thinking of ordering food to be delivered to Sheldon Barn, major supermarkets deliver to Monyash. Food deliveries should be addressed to Sheldon House, as the Barn is set back from the public highway; we will redirect deliveries when they arrive. If you let us know, we can usually receive a delivery for you if it arrives before you do!

2025 Tariff
£350 - £739 (7-night stay) depending on season. Shorter lets (minimum three nights) may also available between October and March, or if the Barn is unlet within three weeks before your arrival date (April to October) .
For direct bookings please use our enquiries page to check availability and prices; a refundable damage deposit of £150 is also required; this will be refunded to you within seven working days of your departure, as long as no substantive damage is evident.
Sheldon Barn is also bookable through the ‘Original Cottages’ booking agency.
